What
is the Aftermarket Xchange?
The
Aftermarket Xchange is a place where you can buy or sell new or used
equipment, look for a job, look for a new employee, etc.. You may also
place a banner ad to promote your business with a link back to your
website.

Do
I have to register if all I want to do is browse the ads?
Absolutely
not! If you just want to look around you do NOT have to be registered.
You will, however, need to register if you want to place an ad or buy
an item.

How
do I register?
Before
you can place an ad or inquire about something for sale, you must register
as a user. You can access the Registration area from two areas - the
menu bar along the top of the page or the gray menu bar down the left-hand
side of the page (see image at right).
You
will be asked to fill out form that includes information such as your
name, address, phone number, e-mail address, etc. Fields that are marked
with an asterisk (*) are REQUIRED. You must complete these fields to
submit the form. To confirm that the e-mail address is accurate and
that you are the person who has registered, you will receive an e-mail
from aftermarket@goodson.com
asking you to confirm your registration. Until you have responded to
this e-mail you will not be able to place ads, submit bids on the auction
or contact sellers. If you have set your e-mail application's spam filter
to a high setting, you may need to look in your "junk" folder
to find this message.

What
is a registration code? Do I need one to register?
Before
you enter the registration area you will be asked for a Registration
Code. From time to time, we will offer special promotions which will
include a code that will entitle you to a discount on your ads. These
promotions will have a Registration Code which is what you will enter
here. If you do not have a Registration Code, simply select the "No
Code" button.
You
do NOT need to have a registration code to register.

How
do I place an ad?
Once
you have registered and logged-in, click on the link to place an
ad. You will be led step-by-step through the process. If at any
time during the process you're not quite sure what to do, look for the
"?" symbol (see picture below).Select this link and a pop-up
window will appear with a brief explanation of what information you
are being asked to provide. back

How
do I find my ad?
When
you have completed placing your ad, it will be posted in the category
that you choose (ie., Used Equipment, New Equipment, Real Estate, etc.)
It will be the newest ad posted until someone else posts an ad
after you did, then your ad will get moved down. You can also select
the link my active ads to see your ad without going to the categories.

You

is monitored from 8 am to 10pm Monday through Friday (central time).

Who

Anyone
who registers with us can post an ad. You just need to go to the register
page, give us some information and you are ready to go. For more information

How do I change my user info?
Log
In and to go my info and you can choose any of the information
such as your address, phone, or company name to change.

We
do not sell your information to anyone, it is completely confidential

Can
I change my ad once it's posted on the site?
Yes.
In fact, we encourage you to change your ad if you are renewing it.
All you need to do is log in and go to my active ads and
click on the ad that you would like to change, you can change the description,
price or photo at anytime.

You
need to register first and then you can buy or sell at anytime. Please
be sure to read the terms and conditions
to verify that what you are putting up is acceptable.

do I pay for the services on the site?
Currently
we are accepting payments by credit card only. We regret any inconvenience
this may be causing. In the future we will also be accepting PayPal.

I've
registered, but the site won't recognize me. Did I do something wrong?
This
could be the result of several things. Be sure you are using the correct
user name and password. Have you responded to the e-mail confirmation
message? If not, this is probably why you are unable to log in. Be sure
to check your e-mail account for a message from aftermarket@goodson.com.
You must reply to this message before you will be allowed to
log in.
